The refrigerators are energy quiet and efficient, and include a smart-home function that lets you control them with your phone or tablet. The fridge has plenty of space for leftovers and food items. This model features an ice maker that makes fresh, filtered ice on the spot. It's also easy to use. The ice and water dispensers are located inside the fridge rather than on the front, so they don't detract from the sleek design of the exterior. The dispensers work with any cold drink, including juice and sports drinks. This refrigerator has a durable stainless steel finish that resists scratches and scratches. It's fingerprint-resistant, too. If you're worried about smudges, think about a solution to clean your home that eliminates fingerprints without harsh chemicals.

This refrigerator features a generous interior space of 20.5 cubic feet, and Bosch's unique farmfresh system, which has four cutting-edge freshness technologies that keep vegetables, fruits and leftovers at least three times as long as the average. The temperature of the freezer is near perfect, too, never varying by more than a fraction an inch from the ideal.

Although the Bosch refrigerator is more expensive than the GE Appliances model, it has more features that make it worth the extra cost. It comes with a door-in-door storage area which allows you to store some food items in a container that fits directly into the fridge's door and has a convertible drawer with five temperature settings designed to hold different kinds of beverages, snacks, meat, and wine. The Bosch fridge comes with a smart home feature known as Home Connect which lets you control it remotely with your tablet or phone.

The only drawbacks to this fridge are the weak main fridge drawer as well as the difficult to use right door latch. The refrigerator is nevertheless a great option for kitchenettes and single households which require more storage space than the typical French-door refrigerator can provide. The stainless steel complements any kitchen beautifully.

LG Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

LG counter-depth refrigerators provide plenty of storage into small footprints. They're also priced lower than standard-depth French door refrigerators and eliminate the need for a separate smaller under-counter freezer. The LG Smart Mirror InstaView Counter-Depth Refrigerator (LMWC23626S) that offers the capacity of a standard fridge in an elegant and contemporary design, isn't an exception. It also features an internal dispenser that allows for easy access to filtered drinking water.

This model's exterior showcases a fingerprint-resistant stainless steel finish and a mirrored InstaView panel that adds to the modern look of the interior.  french door fridge and freezer  have plenty of space and the top shelf can be folded to create a half depth shelf to accommodate taller items. The bottom of the refrigerator is stocked with crisper drawers, and the full width deli drawer is perfect for meat or fresh produce.

The refrigerator has a recessed freezer on the back wall. This reduces space and lets you store more bags of ice. The refrigerator has door cooling that makes use of vents on the door of the fridge and freezer to push cold air in. It helps to prevent hot spots and keeps temperatures more consistent throughout the refrigerator.

This LG refrigerator was a standout in our tests, and comes with plenty of capacity to feed a family however, it has a few quirks that we found annoying. First the freezer drawers don't stay at the temperature we'd like. The temperature of the middle drawer climbed to 41° during our highest use test, which is enough to freeze ice cream and other frozen foods. The temperature of the rest of the freezer remained at around 36 degrees.

The refrigerator doors also have handles with sunken handles that are difficult for shorter people to close. It may seem like a minor issue, but we prefer front-mounted handles on refrigerators because they're easier to open and close.

The fridge is expensive, but it's worth the investment for anyone looking to have an ultra-modern look for their kitchen. We recommend this fridge for those looking to upgrade their refrigerator or for those who are building a brand new home and want an integrated look in the kitchen.

Samsung Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

Samsung's newest counter-depth French door fridge model, the RF23M8090SG, is priced at $4200. It's a good-looking model that boasts useful features like an autofill water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It also did well in our cooling test, but we aren't fans of the plastic handles or the plastic crisper bins.

One thing that sets the RF23M8090SG apart is its Bespoke line which lets you personalize your fridge using removable color panels which can be swapped whenever you get tired of the ones you have currently. There are 11 different colors, from soft pastels to brighter hues and four metallic finishes. Some of these panels can be customized with text or photos, making the fridge a personal touch point that will match your tie-dye Crocs, Rick Owens dress or Andy Warhol banana neon sign.

You can also alter the color of the fridge's LED lighting, which is nice. The interior of the refrigerator is finished with a sophisticated finish that helps reduce smudges and makes cleaning much easier. The RF23M8090SG's only real knocks are its slightly congested beverage center and a bit of a learning curve in opening the door-in-door feature which houses a water jug and a dispenser. You must feel for an unmarked lever on the underside of the door halfway across, and when you do, it opens an additional door inside the refrigerator that houses the pitcher docking station along with the water dispenser as well as two shelves for drinks.

The 6.8 cubic feet freezer compartment is large enough to store a lot frozen food.  french style fridge freezer  comes with the slide-out drawer, which allows you to access the food you want without having to open the entire compartment. There's also a butter bin-style compartment in the freezer for easy storage of small items and a large capacity drawer that can hold larger frozen items. This drawer can be locked with an access code to keep out unwanted guests and has a handy LED light so you can see what's inside at a glance. The freezer is also able to track energy use and help you reduce your energy consumption with the smart-enabled SmartThings Energy mode.

Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

French door refrigerators give a clean look to any kitchen, and are a good fit in a variety of room sizes. If you're looking for the convenience of this design without the additional height, a counter-depth refrigerator is the best choice. This Frigidaire model that we've extensively tested and received an above-average rating in our evaluations due to its reasonable price and thoughtful features like an adjustable temperature drawer.

However, it has a couple of nagging problems. Our test data shows the FGHB2866PF can warm up quite significantly in the freezer and become uncomfortable hot in the most inner shelves of the fridge. Our heat maps show how temperature changes minute by minute. The orange region in the upper right corner, which is the butter bin, has been particularly warm throughout our time of testing. It might not appear too bad at first however, it means that the fridge spends a good portion of its time above 33 degrees.

It's also worth mentioning that the FGHB2866PF isn't an Energy Star-certified model. This could be a factor for some buyers. The issue is that this refrigerator isn't a great choice. It lacks advanced features and is made of a slender, flimsy material, making it difficult to recommend it over better alternatives at this price.

This Frigidaire refrigerator is similar to the stainless steel version that you may see in the local store for appliances. It's a safe option with a smooth finish that looks great and is resistant to smudges, but it does not stand out or set itself apart from competitors that have more features and cost less.

If you're looking for a counter-depth French-door refrigerator but don't want to spend an excessive amount of money, the FGHC2331PF could be worth a look. It's got enough storage to meet the requirements of the majority of families and does an excellent job of keeping food fresh. Even if it's not an energy-efficient model, it doesn't even come close to costing the same amount as our top-rated models do.
